Celebrity Style: The Indian Summer Edition
October 23, 2007
Yes, it's October. To be exact, it's painfully close to November. So why are our fabulous Fall outfits still packed up? Well, us East Coasters have been experiencing a major Indian summer with daily temps that feel more like May than December. So what do we wear? Well, we've noticed some women who feel, mercury be damned, they'll don their fuzzy boots and sweater coats regardless. We find sweating without reason completely ridiculous. But there are ways to pair some summer staples with Autumn basics for a look that's seasonably, well, unseasonable. With Cameron Diaz as our guide, we take a look at a few options:
A brown New York & Co. cardigan keeps the look casual yet chic.
Every girl needs a good basic white tank. This one from Banana Republic amps up the feminine factor with lace detailing.
Seven Jeans–fitted, flattering, and fantastic be it 50 degrees and raining or 75 and sunny.
A pair of Pedro Garcia sandals give toes access to the warm Autumn air, but the neutral color keeps the style seasonal.
