I only have one child, but I’ve always wondered if there was another baby in the picture would I be able to manage a double stroller. I always feel for those moms pushing double strollers–it seems like such a struggle to maneuver in and out of doors and in grocery store aisles. I can’t even imagine how they get up and down stairs.
There’s no baby #2 in my near future, but I still jumped at the opportunity to try out Chicco’s Cortina Together double stroller. I’m a sucker for a good stroller, plus this one fits two Chicco KeyFit car seats!
After taking the Cortina Together for a spin, I will say it is a big adjustment from pushing a single stroller. You can definitely feel that it’s longer and it just takes some getting used to. That being said, it’s a breeze to push. Not at all heavy and the wheels are nice and swervy as my daughter likes to say. Because this is a double stroller, it’s definitely heavier than single stroller, but once it’s folded up it’s pretty flat and not ridiculously awkward or impossible to hoist in a car trunk or on a stroller hook.
But I have to go back to the 2 car seats. I’m pretty sure this is the only stroller on the market that accommodates two car seats making it one of the best double strollers (in my opinion, of course) and the perfect pick for moms with twins.
Plus, check out that storage bin. It’s so spacious, you could probably fit another kid down there–just kidding!
