Moms, take a breath. I know you’re in the throes of back-to-school shopping, but it’s the start of a new season and you deserve some goodies, too.

Because I know you’re on a budget, I’m not even going to suggest a complete closet overhaul. Instead, take a look at these star moms and the trends they’re rocking, then treat yourself. Whether it’s a leather skirt or printed jeans, you totally deserve it!

1. Leather. From dresses to hot pants, leather is everywhere this fall. We suggest taking a cue from Gwyneth Paltrow and going with a fashionable, but not too trendy leather skirt.

2. Printed denim. Every mom needs a good, comfy pair of jeans, so instead of basic blues this season, go a little crazy with a printed pair. Jessica Alba’s star print jeans are cool, but not too crazy.

3. Lace. Lace can be a bit polarizing–some people love it (me!) and others hate it. But no matter your stance, there’s a way for you to wear it this season. If an all-out lace dress is too much for you, try a simple shirt with lace detailing or a lace skirt like Jennifer Garner.
