Couples spend a lot of time--and money--planning their perfect wedding day. But no matter how much thought and care goes into it, there are some things guests won’t remember about the event. So unless it's super important and meaningful to you, you're better off not stressing about these six items.

The Stationery Guests are more likely to remember a hideous invitation, while anything tasteful--no matter how beautifully designed--probably won't get much notice. Even worse: Once the wedding has come and gone, the invite and all other wedding-related stationery will get tossed. So don’t spend loads of money and time on this one.

Favors This is an area that couples definitely spend a lot of time agonizing over, but unless your favors are truly one-of-a-kind, guests won't take notice. In fact, some will leave without even taking their favor with them!

Decor While the décor does bring your wedding theme to life, many brides and grooms go overboard with all of the little décor items that no one besides them will notice. It's best to keep it as simple as possible because you don't want to overwhelm your guests' senses or make the area look disorganized.
Flowers Flowers can really add to the overall décor of a wedding, but most guests aren’t going to notice the different varieties used in an arrangement. So flying in exotic or out-of-season blooms is simply a waste of money.
A Top-Shelf Bar All guests really care about is that they don't have to pay for their own drinks at your wedding; save money by not worrying that all of your liquor needs to be top-shelf. As long as you have bartenders who can make a great drink, that's all that matters.
Table Linens Those luxe tablecloths and napkins you just had to have--no one besides you is going to notice or care. Trust us.
