8 Things Brides Forget To Put In Their Wedding Day Bag

October 18, 2016 by Linda DiProperzio

Before you head out the door to say I Do, make sure you fill your wedding day bag with these essentials.
Marriage license. If there's no one else that can hold this for you, be sure to put this in your bag so you can make your marriage legal!
Vendor tips. Hopefully, one of the parents or best man can hold onto these, but you might still have to bring them with you on the big day.
Emergency kit. You don’t want to think about anything going wrong, but mishaps do happen. A needle and thread, stain stick or wipes, and a few band aids should be must-haves on your big day.
Makeup. While you'll probably be getting your makeup professionally, you'll still need to bring some products along to touch-up throughout the day. Lipstick, powder and blush should be enough.
Nail file. Who wants to deal with a chipped nail all day--especially when you’ll be showing off your new wedding band at the reception?!
Dental care. It's a long day of mixing and mingling with people, so you want to make sure your breath is fresh and you don't have any food stuck in your teeth. A small travel toothbrush, toothpaste and floss are essential for this.
Deodorant. Pack a small travel one so you can reapply when needed.
Snacks. There might be a bit of a break between the ceremony and cocktail hours, especially if you're taking pictures then, so be sure to pack a healthy snack so you don't get light-headed. Just make sure it's not something super messy that will stain your dress or an item that will melt in your bag.
