What did we do before Apple ran the world/our lives/our bank accounts? Remember ASKING people for street directions? Using encyclopedias? How about checking the weather by stepping outside? LOL, me neither! We rely on Apple devices for just about everything these days, but how much do we understand about the people and processes behind them? Thanks to these seven little-known facts, we now know nearly as much about Apple as it knows about us (just kidding, that would be impossible!).

Along with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Apple had a third co-founder, Ronald Wayne. Unlike household names Wozniak and Jobs, Wayne got out early, selling his shares in 1977 for a heartbreaking $800. How much are they worth now? Ouch, this figure really hurts... $35 billion!

iPhone: the name says it all, right? Well, rumor has it that “iPhone” was not the first pick when naming the device. Other options included Mobi, Telepod, Tripod and even iPad!

I'll admit it, I'm an app addict. I can't get enough Candy Crush. In fact, sometimes I consider starting a CCA group (Candy Crushers Anonymous). Sadly, not every app receives the Candy Crush treatment. 60% of the apps in the App Store have never been downloaded—like not even by family members!

The first Apple computer cost $666.66 to build. Say what you will about Apple’s philosophy, but the facts speak for themselves… Just kidding! There’s no proof that satanic worship affected the production of our favorite device.

Don't smoke near your computer (or at all)! Smoking near an Apple product can void its warranty.

Yeah, yeah, we know your Macbook “saved your life”… Turns out, it actually can! An Apple Macbook battery is bulletproof!
