5. Hidden Halo
The hidden halo style of engagement rings are becoming the most requested and popular ring style after the classic solitaire, according to the pros at With Clarity. It adds sparkle to the center diamond but in an unconventional way in that the sparkle is underneath the center diamond.
6. Colored Gemstones
Jeff Moriarty of Moriarty's Gem Art reveals that his company has been seeing a huge demand for colored gemstone engagement rings. "Many customers are choosing this because of tighter budgets," he explains. "Women are also seeing celebrities wearing more colored gemstones, which is pushing them to choose stones such as Morganite, Tanzanite and Sapphire."

Offset stones, also known as 3 Stones, give the illusion of sparkle floating in the air, says Chris Tag, owner of Pompeii3. "These types of rings used to be worn mainly at fashion and cocktail party settings, but its popularity morphed into the wedding industry for brides who value the unconventional."

As Tag explains, vintage rings are incredibly diverse and unique. "It’s quite difficult to find a vintage ring with an exact duplicate of it," he says. "Vintage rings are both glamorous and timeless."
