Clear, glowing and younger-looking skin is always the goal -- and we try a lot of products to obtain it. But dermatologists say that the secret to perfect skin actually lies in your diet. In fact, they recommend these four foods to help you get the skin of your dreams, and, they'll even help you look 10 years younger, too!

Salmon
“When you consume a fatty fish, you bring omega-3 fatty acids to your body, which is a great way to boost a glowing complexion. Good fats, in general, can help make skin radiant. We recommend eating salmon or another source of omega-3 fatty acid at least three times a week,” Dr. Sarah Jackson of New Orleans' Audubon Dermatology tells Southern Living.

Watermelon
Watermelon is made up of 92% water, making it a hydrating fruit for you and your skin. Opting for a snack with a high water content will not only help you feel fuller, but it will also prevent you from eating sugary foods that will spike your blood sugar and cause you to break out.

Oranges
Oranges are high in vitamin C, which can help fight the bacteria that causes acne. Plus, its healing properties will help heal acne scars and give you a glowing and clear complexion. "Vitamin C also boosts the production of collagen, which promotes healthy, radiant skin," says Dr. Deirdre Hooper.

Shrimp
Not only does shrimp make for an excellent protein, but it also helps deliver your body with healthy levels of zinc. Zinc promotes healthy immune function, controls inflammation, and delivers vitamin A to your skin to promote cell turnover, keep it smooth and prevent acne!
