What we love about our creative icons, especially in the entertainment business, is the ability to perfectly display their craft. Pop superstar, Ariana Grande, is leading the way on over-the-top delivery in the industry. This can be from catchy lyrics, memorable performances, and even her unique character personas (whether in music videos or on stage). While this year, many individuals (myself included) decided to copy one of Ari’s famous looks for Halloween, it appears as though she might of been the one copying during the holiday…
This past Halloween, Ariana Grande dressed up as her version of the show ‘The Twilight Zone’, complete with full facial prosthetics. Reflecting the episode, ‘Eye of The Beholder’, fans and Halloween lovers a-like were applauding her costume and calling it a win.
…However, there are rumors floating that Ari may have stolen her look from another artist. In particular, a photographer in New York City, Emily Jane Davis. While the two are both native to Florida, they don’t share credentials or run in similar circles. Davis claims, that one of her previous shoots consisted of the identical lace and fur accessories, and were shot in black and white aesthetics. This was back in 2017, for her “Beauty Interpreted” series. While Davis’ Instagram is private (and our stalking skills only go so far), you may have to be your own judge on the matter.
What do you think? Did Ari copy Davis’ look?
