Ariana Grande has loyal fans. Even when she cancels a show last-minute, there are no hard feelings. Earlier this month, Grande had to back out of her Lexington, KY show seven hours before curtain due to severe sinus pain.
The 7 Rings singer felt terrible for canceling her show, but she was in a lot of pain due to a serious sinus condition. According to Billboard, Grande told fans, “I’m just in a lot of pain and it’s difficult to breathe during the show. I just really don’t know what’s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out.” However, being the grateful person she is, Grande found a thoughtful way to make it up to a handful of her most dedicated fans.
A group of about 40 fans that traveled to Lexington to see the show decided to meet up at a nearby restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Shellye Echeverria, who co-runs the @GrandeTourNews Twitter account said Grande sent her a message asking how she can help. To their delight, Grande picked up the tab. The fans managed to turn a disappointing situation into a happier one. They got to hang out with other dedicated fans and share a meal.
