Ben Affleck Is Photographed Looking Tense As He Smokes A Cigarette In His Car Amid Real Estate Drama
Although the Good Will Hunting actor and the popstar officially ended their on-and-off relationship and brief marriage in January 2025, new reports recently came out that they're still involved in each other's lives whether they like it or not, due to their once-shared mansion still being on the market.
Real estate agents told TMZ that the couple really went for it when buying the mansion, which is a massive property in Beverly Hills, California, as they spent over $60M on it over two years ago. The property was put on the market not long after they split, but now, new reports have come out that they were encouraged to lower the price, and it's now being sold for $8M less than what they asked for.
Not long after this news broke, Ben was photographed in Los Angeles earlier this week, looking tense and stressed out as he smoked a cigarette in his car. Judging by the unhappy look on his face, it led fans and other internet users to wonder if his real estate stress had anything to do with it.
Insiders Say Ben Is Reportedly Ready To 'Cut The Final Cord' And Be Rid Of Jennifer
Most people who have gotten divorced and/or sold a home know how stressful it can be, and an inside source recently told The Daily Mail that the 52-year-old is eager for his and his ex's mansion to sell so he can sever ties with her for good.
"Ben and J-Lo slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion for $8M less than they paid for it, but this is nothing to Ben," spilled the insider.
"He really just wants this to be sold so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined."
The same source also alleged that the Dunkin Donuts advertiser never wanted to spend so much money on a home in the first place, and now he can't wait to be rid of it, as it's "the one last thing that is a symbol of their marriage," and therefore, would take the loss of cash.
"Ultimately, he just hopes that they find a buyer soon and does not care that he takes a multi-million cut," the insider added.
"His marriage and divorce cost him millions, and what is another couple million? It is a small price to pay for Ben."
