When it comes to your skincare products, it’s important to know what the ingredients are that go into making them. If you can’t pronounce it, chances are, it’s probably not natural and therefore, you may want to think twice about putting it on your face.

The mystery ingredients in your products, like your moisturizer and face wash, are a big reason why so many people are making the switch to natural and organic ones. Think about it–if you can use products on your face where you know know what the ingredients are, why wouldn’t you?

With the latest shift in skincare, it’s actually pretty easy to find organic face products. Unfortunately, they’re not often very affordable. With high quality, usually comes a high price tag. But that doesn’t always have to be the case. Cheaper natural skin companies are popping up everywhere, giving you access to cheap organic beauty products at a fraction of the cost of the expensive stuff.

If you’re looking to make the switch, these are the five best organic face washes under $20.

Nourish Organic Moisturizing Face Cleanser, Cucumber & Watercress ($8.39)

This fragrance-free face wash is made to cleanse your skin without drying it out. It penetrates deep into pores to dissolve dirt. It is vegan, organic, GMO-free, cruelty-free, and contains no parabens or sulfates.

Promising review: "Just WOW! I don't know how have I lived all this time without this cleanser! I have never done proper skincare aside from applying organic coconut oil on my skin, so to start, I was looking for a product made of organic ingredients. I found this one while searching for it without having to break the bank. I have nothing else to compare it with, but this one is creamy and liquid at the same time with no fragrance and it feels so good to the skin! It gets soapy when rubbing it on wet face and I couldn't be happier with the results: with just one use, I got rid of the texture I had due to buildup. Yes, just one use! My skin hasn't feel cleaner in a long time. This is definitely now a must for me."

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Cleansing Cream ($8.89)

This facial cleanser is a creamy, foaming formula. It moisturizes your skin with organic Moroccan argan oil, olive oil, and cocoa butter and cleans deeply with mint. It will remove your makeup, dirt, and other impurities from your pores.

Promising review: "After using this for about a month now (in conjunction with the acure facial scrub every other day) I can say I love it even more than I initially did. My skin is looking and feeling so clear, my few blemishes each month have been noticeably reduced in size and number and dark or red areas clear up quicker using this creme wash too. I'm finding that using even less than a pea sized amount is working just fine and this will last me for at least 3 or 4 months if I had to guess. Also noticed this stuff removes makeup like a dream- mascara, eyeliner, it all just melts away immediately with just my fingertips (no rag or scrubbing)."

Beauty By Earth's Superfruits & Sea Kelp Facial Cleanser ($19.99)

This organic facial cleanser purifies your pores for blemish-free skin. It washes away makeup and dirt to make you feel completely clean. The product contains antioxidants and extracts from superfruits and sea kelp to help moisturize and reduce wrinkles.

Promising review: "Great overall face wash - removes makeup, no sensitivity, foams great, great smell. Being an Skin Care Professional I have used a million different products was looking for an organic product for my daughter who has incredibly sensitive skin and eczema. This product has cleared her eczema.... it was so wonderful I started to use it too! A little goes an incredibly long was - a pea size is all you need! Thank you Beauty by Earth for making amazing products - keep them coming! I would love to see a hair product line! Oh and readers - the lip balm is the best you will EVER own!"

Avalon Organics Intense Defense Cleansing Gel ($15.47 for 2)

Avalon Organics cleansing gel is a skin nourishing formula. It's full of antioxidants and has sun-aging defense technology.

Promising review: "I started using Avalon organics when I became pregnant in 2014. My skin was always experiencing breakouts. For many years I tried every skincare product under the sun, spending a ridiculous amount of money. Yet, nothing helped. I assumed that it was the "pregnancy" glow. Now a year after having my baby, my skin is still clean, moist and my mind is clear knowing that very little chemical is being applied. Use the moisturizer as well! AWESOME product!"

Pacifica Beauty Sea Foam Complete Face Wash ($6.79)

Pacifica products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and sulfate-free. This wash is infused with coconut water, a natural toner, and sea vegetables, which have exfoliating and soothing properties.

Promising review: "Before using this product, I had blackheads, especially on my nose and chin. I also have sensitive combination skin. Now I literally have the best skin I have ever had, and I can barely even see my pores. I love this product. Other reviews note that their faces were drier after using this, and I have had that experience as well. Here is the takeaway from that: up your moisturizer and you will have the best skin you have ever had. It did make my skin more dry in the beginning, so I started using Mad Hippy face lotion every day and exfoliating a couple times a week with Angels on Bare Skin (Lush) - both vegan products, btw. Since then, the dryness has gone away and I am left with the smoothest and nicest skin I have ever had. I had tried so many things (Mia clarisonic, salt scrubs, masks, toners, and peels), and nothing worked to clear up my skin like this. I am hooked for life."

If you're looking for a natural toner, Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner ($10.95) is full of natural oils and sugars that help restore dehydrated skin and bring out a natural, dewy, glowing complexion.
