Billie Eilish just made a heart-breaking and eye-opening confession about her health, revealing that she contracted a breakthrough case of COVID-19 in the summer, shortly after her latest album, “Happier than Ever” was released. And had she not been vaccinated, the “Bad Guy” singer predicted that she probably “would have died.”

The 19-year-old multiple-Grammy-winner made the shocking confession when appearing on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on Monday, December 13th – and she did not hold back on the details; in particular her gratitude over the vaccine, which she said “saved” her brother, friends, and parents. “I want it to be clear that it is because of the vaccine I’m fine. I think if I weren’t vaccinated, I would have died, because it was bad,” she began. “The vaccine is *expletive* amazing and it also saved Finneas from getting it; it saved my parents from getting it; it saved my friends from getting it.”

"When I say it was bad, I more just mean that it felt horrible," she continued. "But really, in the scheme of COVID, it was not bad. You know what I mean? When you’re sick, you feel *expletive* horrible. I didn’t die, and I wasn’t gonna die, but that does not take away from how miserable it was. It was terrible."

And while she is obviously feeling a lot better – hence being able to appear on the talk show and even perform on and host Saturday Night Live (which she did last week for the Saturday, December 11th episode) – the singer said that some of the side effects of the virus haven’t fully gone away yet. Speaking about some of the symptoms of long COVID, Billie said: "I still have side effects. I was sick for, like, two months almost." Poor Billie!
