Thinning hair is just one of the many glamorous perks of getting older. It happens to the best of us, male or female, and for some, it comes earlier than others. It plagues nearly 40-percent of women by the age of 40, according to a study by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. By the age of 60, that number doubles to nearly 80-percent.

“While genetics known as female pattern baldness affects about 20% of women with hair loss primarily in the crown and bang area, the majority experience hair loss due to stress and ageing along with changes diet hormonal balance, medications, and health,” explains Blaisure.

First and foremost, taking a dietary supplement designed to target thinning hair is a great way to slow down hair loss and promote regrowth. But that’s not all you should be doing: incorporating hair products is another great way to provide your scalp with the TLC it needs.
