Brooke Shields Wears A Brown Leather Mini Dress For A Broadway Premiere

Many celebrities hit the "Great White Way" on Tuesday, April 22nd, to watch the opening night of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a new play created in honor of the popular series. The play is said to be an exciting experience full of special effects, and serves as a prequel to the story fans know and love on Netflix.

Celebrities like Martha Stewart, Christopher Meloni, and cast members from the original show, such as Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton, stepped out to see the opening night performance and walked the red carpet dressed in chic clothes. However, one of the most talked-about outfits was model and actress Brooke Shields' leather dress.

The Blue Lagoon star posed in a short, brown leather mini dress that stopped just above her knees. While the dress was sleeveless, it was structured in a way that almost gave her the appearance of wearing chic shoulder pads. The chocolate brown leather of the dress was paired with sheer brown tights that showcased her toned legs and a distinctive pair of black leather heels.

Brooke wore simple yet effective accessories with her look, including thick gold hoop earrings, a gold bracelet, and some retro-looking glasses. She had her signature brown hair worn down but slicked back and her nails were painted a light grey color.

Fans React To Brooke's Chic Red Carpet Look On Social Media

Once the opening night celebrations were over, many media outlets posted pictures of some of the best-dressed celebrities who attended the show, including the Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed To Get Old author. When fans of Brooke's saw the photos of her on the red carpet, they couldn't help but point out how great and trendy she looked.

"Brooke is forever!" commented a fan on Page Six's Instagram post of the star.

Another fan wrote that Brooke looks like she's "aging backwards," a comment she has received many times as she's gotten older.

Her appearance at the Broadway show premiere doesn't come long after she posted pictures of herself attending the Tribeca Ball in celebration of the New York Academy of Art last Friday, and fans went wild over that red carpet look as well, writing that the mom-of-two looked "divine."

"You get more beautiful with age," added a fan.

The actress has addressed how she feels about aging and people putting pressure on her to always look youthful in her latest memoir, Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed To Get Old: Thoughts on Aging as a Woman, which was released last January. Her message puts an optimistic spin on aging, as she has worked to prove that she's only become more comfortable in her skin as she gets older, and wants women to reclaim their power as the years pass.

If there's one thing longtime and newer fans of the prominent Hollywood figure can agree on, it's that she's only getting better with age and remains very capable of wowing people with her style.
