Newcomer Sydney Sweeney has landed a starring role as Cassie on HBO’s Euphoria alongside Zendaya. On a press tour for the new series through New York City, the 21-year-old posed in a Miu Miu floral off-the-shoulder dress.
The risqué series is in its first season, but was already renewed after the first three episodes aired. The HBO series initially raised concern for the explicit content potentially catered towards a high school audience, but since its debut has been well-received.
The young actor got her start on other big name productions like HBO’s Sharp Objects, Hulu’s Handmaid’s Tale, and Netflix’s Everything Sucks!.
Recently, the 5-foot-3-actor has been celebrating the success of her new show on a tour through the Italian Amalfi Coast. The rising star has been featured in countless interviews and magazine covers and will continue to establish herself in the entertainment industry.
