Whenever there’s an awards show, you can count on some noteworthy red carpet moments — but the fashion industry events may bring out the best looks of all.
While the Met Gala came and went in May, this month saw the CFDA Awards, which sees a slew of designers and A-list celebs descend upon NYC each year, dressed to the nines.
Jennifer Lopez was the recipient of the prestigious CFDA Fashion Icon Award, so of course she served up yet another iconic look.
The "On The Floor" singer wore a custom red-orange Ralph Lauren outfit: a sparkly crop top (perfect for showing off her flawless abs) and a flowing skirt.
Another over-the-top look came courtesy of Ciara. The pop star turned heads in a sheer black eyelet dress by Vera Wang, who was her date for the night.
Elsewhere, Bebe Rexha slayed in a sequin-covered LBD with a plunging neckline and ruffle detailing at the hem. The "Meant To Be" songstress' look was designed by Angelys Balek.
Bella Hadid also got the sparkly-black-dress-with-a-low-neckline memo. The supermodel wore a very low-cut, halter-style dress by Michael Kors. So hot!
Gigi Hadid went in a completely different — and much more covered-up — wardrobe direction than her sister. The Reebok ambassador was cool as can be in a baby blue Louis Vuitton menswear look created by Virgil Abloh of Off-White fame.
Other stars took the menswear inspo too, but gave it a decidedly more feminine twist. Take Shailene Woodley. The "Divergent" star wore a one-shouldered blazer dress from Jonathan Simkhai's pre-spring 2020 collection.
Lili Reinhart went the blazer dress route, also. The "Riverdale" actress wore a Carolina Herrera number that showed a flash of her sheer black bra. Chic!
