Chrissy Metz’s Transformation Continues To Stun Us All

Chrissy Metz has definitely gone a long way with her weight loss journey, and she is being an inspiration to all.

According to an article published by Health And Healthier, the This Is Us actress “went from being 226kgs to 181kgs within a short time period of less than 5 months.” The outlet added, “In total, she lost about 100 pounds within that given frame of time.” Wow!

Sources say however that this transformation did not come easy. Urban Matter shares, “She always struggled with her weight since childhood.” In an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Metz mentioned, “My friends could eat whatever they wanted to, but I knew that as a kid if I ate certain things I would totally gain weight. I had to be really cognizant of what I ate.”

When she was 11, Metz joined Weight Watchers, “a scientifically proven program for weight loss and wellness, with digital, in-person, and virtual workshops, and personal coaching solutions.” She told Hollywood Reporter, “I was the youngest person in the damned room, and it was awkward. My mom was trying to figure it out, but it’s a process.”

Now you may be wondering: What motivated or inspired Metz’s weight loss journey, and how did she do it in such a short amount of time? According to Urban Matter, “After having a panic attack on her birthday, Chrissy Metz started taking life and her seriously. She went on a diet where she ate 2,000 calorie [daily]. With 2,000 calories per day, she cut herself from unhealthy foods and started walking for 20 minutes regularly.”

Health And Healthier also reports, “She believed in 4 things that served as a motivation for her in order to shed 100 pounds: Loving yourself is more important than anything, meditation, negative effects of being overweight, and her past.”
