Looks like Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are adding to their beautiful family! The 31-year-old model and her husband are ready to try for their second baby in the "coming months" through IVF, Teigen told InStyle for the magazine's November issue.
When she first began her fertility treatment, Teigen was implanted with 20 embryos. After checking for imperfections, the couple then narrowed them down to three that "you know are going to be good for your body."
"The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna," Teigen revealed of her struggle to initially get pregnant. The third embryo is a boy, so if it does take, Luna will have a little brother.
Teigen suffered from postpartum depression in her first pregnancy, but she's prepared to face the challenge again.
"I have really good days and really bad days, and I don’t tend to talk about the really bad days,” she said. “But I would hate for people to think those days didn’t exist.”
As the couple begins their next pregnancy journey, Teigen adds that she feels so lucky to have John by her side.
"He is insanely patient and such a dork, and he loves seeing me happy, even if that means watching The Real Housewives of Dallas with me for two and a half hours," Teigen said. “I mean, I don’t care about half the sh*t he’s doing either. But there’s a balance. If he’s watching MSNBC and is excited about something, then I’ve got to be in that realm.”
Too cute! We wish the couple the best of luck in welcoming a new bundle of joy to the world.
