Demi Moore Wears A Tie-Inspired Thom Browne Gown To The 2025 Met Gala
For this year's Met Gala, i.e., one of the biggest nights on the fashion calendar, the Ghost alum flaunted her sensational figure in a black and white Thom Browne gown that was reminiscent of a classic men's tie.
According to Vogue, the dramatic gown featured more than 1,400,000 beads and took over 7,600 hours to make. The dress had all the parts of a classic men's tie, including the loop, which was worn over the mom-of-three's head like a halo. It really was a work of art!
Reddit Comments
"Looks like a tongue scraper for rich people!" exclaimed one Reddit user. "I wish the stripes on the 'collar' of the tie/dress were slanted like they would be in real life and not straight up and down. Mild issue for an otherwise really fun look," noted a second.
"Is this supposed to be a tie?" asked a third, adding: "I appreciate the literal take on men's fashion! I don't love the look but points for the vision I think." "Honestly my only gripe is that she's putting her hands on the circle part in every picture it kinda detracts from the effect," thought a fourth. Other Reddit users, however, were obsessed with the look for all the right reasons!
"I love this. It's a tie. Cute take. On theme with a unique take," praised a fifth, as s sixth said they "absolutely love the performance art angle." A seventh added: "It's crazy to me that this look isn't getting more praise...it's the best look of the night for me. She's literally wearing a dress constructed to look like a tie! It's sick." "Fab, love it," raved an eighth.
