Despite clearly trying to hide it with makeup, Donald Trump’s hand is covered in a large, dark bruise. Social media users spotted it last week in photos from his State Visit to the UK and are raising concerns about Trump’s health. This isn’t the first time the internet has spotted the bruising on his hand, in fact it’s something Trump’s been trying to conceal for months. Keep reading for more information.
Donald Trump Hides Bruised Hand
Throughout Trump’s second presidency, he’s been spotted with bruising on his hand numerous times, and many users online think it’s a sign of failing health. On the back of his right hand, there’s a large, black-and-blue bruise that covers most of his hand, and even makeup isn’t hiding it from view.
In photos from Donald Trump's visit to the United Kingdom, it's very clear that he's applied a heavy amount of concealer to the back of his hand and is trying to hide the bruise from view. Unfortunately, he fooled no one.
Back in July, the White House actually addressed the discoloration, claiming it’s due to “frequent hand shaking and the use of aspirin.” It’s safe to say that no one believed that line. On X, formerly Twitter, users are trying to guess what could be the culprit.

Social Media Reactions
Many have guessed that the bruising is a result of IV infusions of blood thinners, saying Trump having congestive heart failure is not out of the realm of possibility. Others are saying it's a hematoma, which is the result of damaged blood vessels. Regardless of what it is, the internet has questions.
"Wow, his hand looks so much better with smeared concealer on it," one person wrote.
"His hand makeup is extra obvious here," another user added.
"Hands look flushed and puffy," noted a third. "What's his deal?"
"Busted. He can't hide the bruises forever—the 'tough guy' act crumbles when the camera catches reality," another person wrote. "Trump is not well, and the cover-up is pathetic."
"I feel like when a bruise is starting to look like the hand is rotting, you're moving away from 'Oh it's just blood thinners' to something more chronic and dangerous," a final user posted.
