Eiza González may be a Hollywood newcomer, but the star’s wardrobe is already up to par with some of our favorite style icons. In fact, González’s latest look is generating a lot of buzz on social media.
The Baby Driver actress rocked a floral dress for the cover of Who What Wear‘s July Issue, nearly breaking the internet with her stunning look:
González recruited trendy fashion designer Brock Collection for the steamy shoot, opting for the brand’s Okiku Feather Detail Taffeta Dress. The show-stopping dress features a sweetheart neckline with a peplum bodice and ostrich feather trim throughout, creating the perfect editorial and summer-ready look.
The star opened up to WWW‘s Amanda Montell about working in Hollywood and the challenges she’s faced when it comes to finding the right parts, explaining that selecting parts has become more “complicated” in today’s world.

@whowhatwear Now, actresses like González, who aren’t white enough to enjoy the privilege of whiteness in Hollywood or (evidently) ethnic enough for loads of other roles, find themselves in a perplexing position. González puts it to me like this: “If [an actor] gets a chance, but they’re not representing who they’re supposed to, then they’re canceled, or they’re taking jobs from someone else. Cancel culture is brutal. So, I’m not going to lie, I get confused. Because art is subjective. It’s not politically correct. But I also truly want people to feel included. How do we get to that point? It’s complicated.” It’s scary times to pick roles. You don’t want to be the actress who plays into cliches and perpetuate what we fight against, but also if you don’t then you don’t get roles relevant enough or big enough on screen. I’ve had to take several smaller roles in order to play something unrelated to my background or my ethnicity. It’s those sacrifices that will take longer to get to my dream goal but I feel true to myself.

González also revealed that she has some exciting projects in the work that showcase her range, specifically in comedy. “I can be soft. I can do soft characters,” she admits. “And comedy! But those are just sides of myself that people don’t usually get to see,” she told the publication. She’s hoping that her humor in Godzilla, which is set to premiere in 2020, will open more comedic opportunities for her.
