Ellen DeGeneres has been in the headlines a lot lately after moving from the United States to England. However, people are still reminiscing on the cancellation of her talk show, and one of the latest reports has the internet buzzing.

The retired talk show host has been reportedly living a great new life since leaving America, leaving her past behind her. However, a former employee of hers recently dug it back up after giving an interview that exposed her alleged dislike of male staff members. While she has not acknowledged the interview, it comes not long after months of bullying accusations, which many believe led to her getting “kicked out” of show business. A Former 'Ellen Show' Cameraman Claims Ellen DeGeneres' Didn't Like' Her Male Employees

A few years ago, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the comedian's infamous talk show that was on air for an impressive 19 years, came to an end after claims were made that there was a very toxic workplace going on behind the scenes. It was a very sad situation for fans of Ellen's, as for decades, she upheld a reputation as a fun, relatable, and beloved television personality.

Not long following her cancellation, Ellen and her wife of 17 years, Portia de Rossi, moved from California to England for a fresh start. Recent insider reports have noted that the couple is thriving, and Ellen is "in her element" and living a whole new lifestyle. However, people have not forgotten about the rumors behind her canceled show, and a new interview from a former anonymous employee has the internet shook.

A former cameraman, who formerly worked at the Ellen DeGeneres Show, gave a tell-all interview for The Daily Mail and did not hold back when it came to telling the story of a rather strange behind-the-scenes issue the Finding Nemo actress often had. According to the former employee, Ellen allegedly went through a lot of male staff members, because there weren't many she actually liked.

"We went through a lot of male employees just in general," he claimed. "We had a feeling she really didn't like guys."

The Former Employee Alleges Ellen Didn't Like It When Male Staff Members Spoke To Portia de Rossi

In addition to the 67-year-old reportedly not getting along very well with any male employees on her show, things would be even worse whenever they'd try talking to Portia, her wife of 17 years, who would allegedly stop by the show's set for visits and to spend time with Ellen. The cameraman claimed that while the Arrested Development actress was always friendly and "nice" to everyone backstage, if Ellen caught any men speaking with Portia or getting a little too friendly back, she'd snap. Even if male staffers were to get "caught in conversation with Portia," it reportedly would not end well, receiving a "terrifying" look from the show host employees, eventually dubbed "the Ellen gaze."

"You just hoped and prayed you weren't seated by her wife, so you didn't get her attention," stated the former employee, before comparing the comedian to "a queen looking for her next execution."

Allegedly, her distaste towards men didn't just apply to men who worked on the crew of her show, but also applied to certain guests as well. The cameraman claimed that Ellen got upset with Gordon Ramsey during one of his appearances on her talk show after he called her and the crew out for using rancid meat for a cooking demonstration.

"She told one of her EPs, 'Don't let this guy on the show again,'" the source told the Daily Mail. "You were uninvited as a guest pretty easily."

While Ellen has yet to chime in on these accusations, it all sheds some more light on why she was "kicked out of show business," as she said during her Netflix special following her show's cancellation.
