Emma Stone Wears A Black Louis Vuitton Dress To 'Bugonia' Photocall During Venice Film Festival
The Venice Film Festival boasts some of the most glittering and stylish red carpets of the year, which is why the Kinds of Kindness actress's fans were extremely disappointed with her ensemble for the Bugonia photocall, which took place on August 28th.
For the event, the Poor Things actress was styled by Petra Flannery in a black dress from Louis Vuitton, featuring a halter neckline and an intricate lace asymmetric skirt.
She accessorized with the brand's 'Express PM' leather handbag (makes sense that she is rocking its newest pieces given that she is a brand ambassador!) and strappy Manolo Blahnik heels, as well as some black sunglasses.
Fans Slam The Look On Reddit
Fans took to Reddit to voice their disapproval of the look, with many of them thinking the dress looked "cheap."
"This looks like it's from Shein," slammed one fan, as a second wrote: "I was coming to type this exact comment. The top half looks poorly conceived and the bottom half looks like an afterthought with cheap fabric."
"I wouldn't guess in a million years that this is a luxury brand item. It just looks cheap and dowdy," concurred a third, as a fourth said "the dress looks shockingly cheap." "It looks like a T.J. Maxx find," echoed a fifth, as a sixth joked: "Looks cheaper than I do today."
"Whoever styled this: straight to jail," declared a seventh. "Why does LV hate Emma Stone? " asked an eighth fan, as a ninth demanded: "Free Emma from LV, that's all. I'll never forgive them for putting her in that awful peplum that ripped when she won her second Oscar." A final disgruntled fan added: "This is tragic. I truly didn't recognize her.
