Fast-food restaurants already get a bad rep when it comes to calories and quality of food, so it makes sense that their desserts would be equally looked down on. Few desserts can aid your weight loss goals, but there's one out there that's better for you than any Frosty or McFlurry.

And the award for best fast-food dessert for your metabolism goes to....Pret A Manger! At only 280 calories, Pret A Manger's notorious Harvest Cookie isn't your average fast-food dessert. It's loaded with cranberries, walnuts, raisins, and rolled oats.

The main ingredients in these cookies—if you can even call them that—offer nutrients and low-calorie supplements. Raisins within the cookies can help speed up your metabolism and give you a sugar boost, according to the SF Gate.

This cookie also has 5 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, which is probably more than any other fast-food desserts combined can offer. The next time your sweet tooth kicks in, you know where to go.

While desserts should definitely be kept to a minimum when trying to maintain a healthy diet and metabolism, some fast-food desserts are definitely better for your body than others (*cough cough Pret A Manger*).
