Experts say breakfast is an extremely important meal, but you'll want to eat it after your workout for optimal muscle strengthening. The number one dish they reccommend? An egg white omelete! Egg whites are full of protein, which sets off a cellular reaction in your body that helps your muscles heal after a workout breaks them down. And when a body is healed, it's best able to achieve peak performance and muscle growth.

Compared to the yoke of the egg, the white also contains fewer calories and cholesterol, which will help you stay lean as you build muscle. And that's not to mention it'll keep you satiated without causing belly bloat.

You can even pair your omelette with some avocado and olive oil, both of which provide healthy fats your body will crave after a workout.

Wow, all this talk off yummy omelettes actually makes us excited for leg day! Here's to getting our most toned gams yet.
