Former Taco Bell Employee Offers Warning To Customers

Suspicion has been cast on Taco Bell for offering remnants of meat to customers, mislabeled as “shredded chicken.” A TikToker and self-dubbed ex-employee of the chain recently shared her insight into the quality of the chain’s meats. According to her, the ground beef is more than satisfactory, and the grilled chicken is also dependable. However, the shredded chicken has raised some eyebrows due to its suspicious nature.

As reported by The Daily Dot, the user @momofstac,y says in her viral video: “So I worked at Taco Bell for almost three years, and I’m here to tell you all the truth.” She added: “The shredded chicken is all of the bits of the chicken that you don’t want to eat, and I promise you, eventually you’re gonna get a bone.”

The apparent former Taco Bell worker also cautioned viewers to be wary of the fast food giant’s steak, (she used air quotes when saying the word) alleging that it is mostly comprised of gelatin. “Also the ‘steak’—so disappointing because I know it’s like the most appetizing thing—it’s 90% gelatin,” she went on. She continued, and said if the steak is left out for a little while it becomes “a slab of gelatin.” In the highly viewed video, she stressed once again: “Just trust me and stay away from the shredded chicken and steak.”
