Gigi Hadid is gearing up to return to the runway for the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15, reflecting on her journey since making her debut for the iconic lingerie brand a decade ago.
In a recent interview, the supermodel showcased her effortless style in a preppy-inspired look—a chic pink cardigan casually tied around her shoulders over a black tank top and jeans, cinched with a navy belt. She wore her hair in an elegant updo and opted for soft, natural makeup that perfectly highlighted her features.
While many might assume Gigi landed a spot in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on her first try, she revealed that she actually auditioned “two or three times” before finally earning her place on the 2015 runway.
Reflecting on her younger self, the mom of one grew emotional as she shared, “So, you can imagine what I felt when I got my first show. She just wanted it so bad. And like, I was thinking about it earlier today. And I look back at pictures of that time, and the world was so hard on her. And not just me; it is hard on girls.”
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show made its highly anticipated return to the runway in 2024 after a six-year hiatus since its cancellation in 2019.
