There are many A-listers we sometimes forget have dated. Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin, Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Gosling, and so many more. And add Gisele Bündchen and Leonardo DiCaprio to that list, too!

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, 45, and the Wolf of Wall Street actor, 50, were in an on/off relationship between 2000 and 2005. And roughly one year later, for those who don’t know, the Brazilian beauty started dating NFL star, Tom Brady.

Gisele and Tom married in 2009, and they share two children together: 15-year-old son Benjamin and 12-year-old daughter Vivian. Gisele is also stepmom to the seven-time Super Bowl champ’s 18-year-old son Jack, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan. So what exactly went wrong between the Brazilian supermodel and the Oscar-winning actor?

Why Did Gisele Bündchen And Leonardo DiCaprio's Relationship End?

According to reports, the Nourish cookbook author, who is now dating jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, the father of her new baby boy, has previously noted how she didn't feel that she and the Titanic alum were meant to be together, despite their deep love for each other.

In her 2018 memoir Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, Gisele reflected on the reasons their high-profile relationship ultimately ran its course. Essentially, according to the memoir, she was growing and evolving, while the Killers of the Flower Moon star seemed hesitant to change.

This definitely checks out, considering how the Revenant actor recently joked that he feels like he is "emotionally 32," not 50!

Gisele Doesn't Seem To Regret Her Relationship With Leo

The Vogue cover star wrote at the time: "No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I'd chosen not to look at. Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while [Leonardo DiCaprio] stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes."

She echoed this in a later interview with People, saying that she doesn't regret her relationship with the environmental advocate because she sees it as an important chapter in her life...

"Everyone who crosses our path is a teacher. They come into our lives to show us something about ourselves. What is good versus bad? I honor him for what he was," she explained.
