A source revealed that the mom of two's priorities have shifted tremendously since adopting baby Hope Catherine earlier this month. The insider says that Kotb doesn't necessarily see herself on T.V. anymore, noting that she wants to continue writing books and reaching people through different mediums.
“Hoda doesn’t see her career as the be-all and end-all any longer,” the source tells Closer Weekly exclusively. “She doesn’t see herself being like Barbara Walters, still doing daily TV when she’s 75. She’s had great success writing books and that appeals to her.”
The insider predicts that Kotb will leave daytime television by the time she turns 60, noting that it wouldn't be an easy decision for the 54-year-old to leave.
“I think you could see a day that Hoda leaves TV, or at least daily TV, by the time she’s 60. Motherhood and soaking in every joyful moment of it, means that much to her,” the source adds.
