HUDA Beauty’s #FauxFilter Foundation Is Here–And We’ve Got Swatches!
I know you're JUST getting over Fenty Beauty's 50 foundation shade drop, but HUDA Beauty's #FauxFilter is finally here and I'm shook. You need to make room in your beauty bag for this incredible foundation (it already has rave reviews from bloggers).
The foundation comes in 30 shades and was designed to create an Instagram-worthy, full-coveraged affect. It literally blurs and filters skin to look completely flawless, both on your camera and IRL. The finish is insane--and we can prove it. We managed to get our hands on three samples of the stuff--and have the swatches, as well as links to buy every. single. shade. But just a warning--many are already sold out on Sephora!
For medium skin tones, here's Shortbread (200B) and Cheesecake (250G) swatched on my arm.
The quality and texture of the product is amazing. A little goes a long way and it is so dreamy and dewy on--absolutely no caking. The pump distributes the perfect amount, which sounds silly but is so important when you're trying to save every last drop of a quality foundation like this.
Here's my colleague Mahogany in the Mocha (500G) shade. Obviously it's not a match, but the samples were really hard to come by, so this is the best I could do for the darker shades.
It seems like pretty much every review online said that you can find an exact match, so I would definitely take the time to swatch them yourself at Sephora. You definitely don't need to settle for a "close match" here. The foundation is so full coverage we joked that we could totally cover her tattoos!
