While the Russian native didn’t reveal who she was traveling with, new reports have since offered fans an update on her whirlwind romance, or "situationship," with Tom Brady.
Sources talked to the Daily Mail and said, “Tom and Irina are on the same page. They’re not looking for anything serious or to go exclusive. They find time to be with each other when they can, and that’s that.” The insider also added, “They are both officially single if anyone were to ask.”
The former NFL star and Shayk’s relationship first sparked in late spring to early summer 2023, when the two reportedly met at a mutual friend’s wedding in Italy. By July, paparazzi photos of the pair together in Brady’s car ignited dating rumors, though sources at the time downplayed the seriousness.
They were later spotted on several low-key dates and at hotel stays throughout the summer and into the fall. By October 2023, reports suggested the romance had “fizzled out,” according to outlets including TMZ.

“Their super busy schedules are the main reason they haven’t dove into a full-on relationship,” an insider said at the time.
Then, in February 2025, Page Six reported that the pair had “started dating again,” nearly a year after their initial split. “Tom isn’t afforded a life where he can often keep things to himself, but he is keeping the situationship with Irina close to his chest. They get along, they have a good time, they talk, and they try to meet up. It’s what works for them right now," a source revealed.
Brady was married to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen from February 26, 2009, until their divorce was finalized on October 28, 2022. The former couple share two children, a son, Benjamin, and a daughter, Vivian. Bündchen has since remarried her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, and welcomed their baby boy in February 2025.
Irina is also a parent to one child, a daughter named Lea De Seine, whom she shares with actor Bradley Cooper. The actor has since been in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid for the past two years.
