Jenna Bush Hager's Hilarious Response to On-Air Heel Mishap
Along with images that showed Hager's tan pump breaking, she captioned her post: "POV: It's 10:00 a.m. and your shoe decides to malfunction on live TV." The author then added shrugging emojis as thousands of fans double-tapped the video and left comments.
"I saw that. Very funny. Jenna took it in stride and had fun with it! True professional. And righteously gorgeous!" one wrote as another added: "The highlight of my day is @TODAY with Hoda & Jenna ! Love all of these moments and how real they are!!"
Someone else concurred, writing: "You handled it with grace!! Love watching you and Hoda" as one other noted, regarding the mom of three: "Thank you for always being real!"
Last winter, Kotb surprised the audience of Today with Hoda and Jenna and told them that that her co-host Hager "never wears underwear."
Kotb said back in December 2022: "I was a little surprised because Jenna and I know a lot about each other." Kotb explained that she learned of Hager’s tendency to go commando after the two shared a dressing area before going on air, giving her a "little shock."
Hager defended going out without underwear, saying, "I think it makes a more pretty silhouette. I also think you don’t have to pack as much. There’s a lot of pros to it!"
Their show’s wardrobe supervisor then said that not dealing with underwear actually makes "life a lot easier." Kotb noted that the downsides include "a lot of washing of clothes, over and over."
Still, the writer defended her habit, adding: "[Hoda] said, ‘Do you wash your clothes’ and I said ‘Yes, I do.’ But it’s also not like I’m sharing your jeans with you. Though I do steal Savannah [Guthrie]’s pants on occasion."
She then asked Kotb: "And I do want to borrow that red suit of yours. Can I?" Kotb replied, "Yes, you can, anytime." Hager joked: "I’ll wear underwear."
