It’s been over a decade since we last saw Jennifer Aniston on our T.V. screens. The actress is set to make her big return to the small screen next year in her upcoming Apple series “The Morning Show,” but we’re learning that Aniston has been uneasy about it.
Here’s why she’s been feeling “extremely anxious” and under pressure:
“Jen is telling friends she’s extremely anxious and nervous to return to TV,” a source tells Hollywood Life. "It’s been years since she’s had a big hit and Jen feels the pressure of having a successful show like Friends again as that was her last big stint on TV.”
The insider also explained that Aniston feels like pressure from her co-star Reese Witherspoon, who has had massive success from her latest venture to T.V. with Big Little Lies. "She knows that’s what everyone is expecting and she’s putting a lot of pressure on herself because of it. It’s all that’s on her mind, the source continues.
Aniston's anxieties are also stemming from not being used to the T.V. filming schedules. The source notes that "she’ll need to readjust and get used to" dividing her time between the show and her upcoming film projects, which includes the Netflix comedy Murder Mystery, which also stars Adam Sandler.
“Filming is set to begin this week and she’s busy making sure she looks her best,” the insider adds.
We're sure Aniston will nail the part and knock it out of the park. We're super excited to learn more about the show and her character!
