Jennifer Lawrence embraced both comfort and style as she flaunted her post-baby figure at an exclusive pre-Met Gala fashion event hosted by the house of Lauren Santo Domingo—now under the Ralph Lauren umbrella—on May 2 in New York City.

Sticking to her minimalist roots, the Hunger Games star opted for an all-black ensemble from The Row, one of her go-to labels. She wore a breezy, semi-sheer maxi dress with side slits, layered over a bralette and paired with the brand’s Irene Silk Slip Skirt and Claudette Leather Flats. See the look here!

Her accessories were kept simple yet chic, featuring layered silver necklaces, a statement ring, and her hair styled down with soft baby bangs.

But the real showstopper? A rare top-handle red patent bag from The Row, which added a bold pop of color. Valued at over $33,000 according to Vogue, the sought-after accessory is currently sold out in every color.

The outing comes after the 34-year-old recently welcomed her second child with husband Cooke Maroney.

Lawrence and her husband quietly welcomed their second child, joining their firstborn, Cy, who arrived in 2022. Though the actress is known for keeping her family life private, sources have shared insights into how she’s feeling after the arrival of baby number two.

“Her first child was born in Los Angeles. She recently gave birth to her second child in N.Y.C. She’s doing well," a source told PEOPLE back in April. "She was very excited about the pregnancy. She thought it was the perfect timing. She was very active and felt good. She’s a fun mom and loves outings with her son.

The insider further added, "She is also super protective. She wants her children to have as much privacy as possible.”
