Jessica Chastain keeps serving one hit look after another on the red carpets these days! And the 46-year-old Oscar-winner‘s appearance at 89th annual Drama League Awards, which were held at The Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on May 19th, was absolutely no exception!

The Eyes of Tammy Faye star attended the awards, which were hosted by Frank DiLella, as she is currently starring in Jamie Lloyd’s revival of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, which was up for a handful of awards. A Doll’s House took home the award for ‘Outstanding Revival of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Play,’ which we’re sure is partly down to Jessica’s excellent portrayal of Nora Helmer.

Jessica Chastain's Floral Prabal Gurung Power Suit

The George & Tammy star stole the show in a multi-colored floral power suit by Prabal Gurung, consisting of floral bootleg trousers and a sharp matching blazer. The styling was where things really got interesting, as Jessica chose to forgo the traditional shirt or blouse, and instead, chose to wear a provocative sheer black lace corset underneath. If you’re searching for an example of a sharp, chic, feminine *and* sexy look all rolled into one, then look no further!

Jessica wore her signature red hair in a center-parted sleek and straight down do, and for makeup, went for a pop of bold red lipstick, rosy cheeks, and glittery eyeshadow. She clearly came to slay, which didn’t go unnoticed among her fans in the comments section to her May 20th Instagram video from the event.

Fan Comments

"So gorgeous," raved one fan, which another echoed, writing, "Gorgeous," followed by three fire emojis and three red heart emojis. "You're a legend," gushed another, followed by two heart eyes emojis, while another said, "What a mother," followed by two red heart emojis.

Jessica Chastain Receives Nomination For 'Distinguished Performance' Award

Jessica, who is on Broadway for the first time in ten years, was also nominated in the 'Distinguished Performance Award' category. She faced stiff competition from a number of equally insanely-talented actors including Marvelous Mrs Maisel actress Rachel Brosnahan for The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window and Killing Eve star Jodie Comer for Prima Facie, but lost to Annaleigh Ashford, who took home the award for her role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
