Justin Bieber Just Revealed This Heartbreaking Update About His Mental Health Status–So Sad!

Justin Bieber recently opened up about his mental health in his Youtube documentary Justin Bieber: Next Chapter.

The “Baby” singer assured fans that he is “in the best place” right now, but that was not always the case. Specifically, the 26-year-old explained how his rapid rise to fame had a serious impact on his mental health and left him is some dark places.

Bieber explained how getting so famous so quickly altered his perception.

He explains in the documentary: "I had no idea that this life would take me by storm. I had no idea that I would just get sucked up by all of this stuff."

At one point Bieber explained that his insecurities had led to several problems for him: "I just kind of let the insecurities of everything going on dictate how I started to move."

Bieber also shared that there were point where he felt suicidal.

He explained, "There was times where I was really, really suicidal. Like, man is this pain ever going to go away? It was so consistent, the pain was so consistent. I was just suffering, right? So, I’m just like, man, I would rather not feel this than feel this."

This dark place inspired Bieber to start being more open about his mental health struggle.

The singer added, "I want to be the type of person and leader who can tell people, 'You don’t have to put on a front. You don’t have to act a certain way. Who you are is enough.'"
