Kate Middleton made a highly anticipated – and very stylish – appearance in Wales earlier this month. And we think royal fans will be talking about it for many months, if not many years, to come!

On Tuesday, February 3rd, the Princess of Wales visited the historic Melin Tregwynt woolen mill on the Pembrokeshire coast to celebrate the British textile industry. Later that day, she stopped by Hiut Denim, the family-owned denim brand based in Cardigan, Wales. The latter is no stranger to royal attention, as Meghan Markle famously wore Hiut jeans back in 2018, making its popularity soar almost instantly!

Kate Middleton Turns Heads In A Welsh-Designed Orange Patterned Coat

The Princess of Wales, 44, looked effortlessly glamorous for the visit, turning heads in an unexpected yet striking outerwear choice. Not only did the coat garner attention because it came in a bold color she seldom wears, but also because it had a meaningful local connection.

The rose-patterned coat in the unmissable bright orange hue was reportedly crafted using Welsh wool from Melin Tregwynt, with the fabric dating back to the 1960s. As always, Kate's fashion choice was intentional and well-thought-out, with the coat serving as a thoughtful nod to the region's textile heritage.

The rest of the mom-of-three's look was chic and polished, as she added an olive green N. Peal cashmere turtleneck, tailored Victoria Beckham trousers, and olive suede Gianvito Rossi pumps. She accessorized with gold hoop earrings from Welsh jewelry brand Spells of Love, which were on full display thanks to her hair being styled in a half up, half down do with soft waves.

"So elegant, always!" gushed a third fan, followed by the red heart emoji. "The Princess of Wales looks sooooo good," raved a fourth, followed by three red heart emojis, as a fifth concurred: "Beautiful Princess! She never puts a foot wrong along with the Princess Royal and Duchess Sophie."
