Kate Middleton always looks absolutely regal, no matter what she’s wearing. But recently, the Duchess of Cambridge has been making an interesting fashion choice (over and over again) and we can’t help but wonder if she’s trying to tell us something.
It’s no secret that the Royals have to follow a strict protocol when it comes to how they dress. Absolutely every last detail in the royal family’s attire is thought out–from the style of hat Kate wears to the color of her outfit.
With that in mind, we can’t help but notice that Kate has worn more navy dresses and cobalt coats in the last few months since she announced her pregnancy in September, than ever before. In many of her public appearances as of late, the Duchess of Cambridge has worn blue, again and again.
This suggestive color scheme has us desperately wondering if Kate is trying to hint at the hidden gender of the royal baby. According to Us Weekly, when it comes to the sex of baby number three, Kate and William “are going to leave it to surprise this time.”
Today The Duchess of Cambridge visited the new HQ of children’s mental health charity @_place2be to officially open their centre of excellence. The Duchess met staff, counsellors, teachers and school leaders, and praised them for being at the forefront of efforts to give every child the best start in life. The Duchess also got chance to join pupils from nearby Albion Primary School who were taking part in an exercise on friendship.
If Kate is expecting a boy, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will have two boys and one girl in their royal family of five. Prince George of Cambridge, who was born in July of 2013, is now 4 years old and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, who was born in May of 2015, is now 2 years old.
Thankfully, with Kate’s due date set for April 2018 (yes, just one month away!), we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out the sex of the third royal baby!
Is anyone else absolutely dying to know what the gender of the baby is?
