Barely two months after officially calling it quits, it seems Keith Urban may be regretting his decision to end his marriage to Nicole Kidman. According to insiders, the reality of being single at 58 is starting to sink in, and he’s feeling some regret. Keep reading for more information.
Keith Urban Feels Divorce Regret
Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban on September 30th of this year, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair had been married for 19 years and share two daughters together, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Though rumors had been circulating since early 2025 that their marriage may be on the rocks, it's not until now that Urban is reportedly realizing what life on his own is really like.
"It's a lonely existence for Keith right now," an insider explained. "He's exhausted, isolated, and looking at a future he never imagined. He's also lost his best friend, Nicole, who was also his greatest supporter in life and he's wondering if he made a huge mistake."
Loneliness aside, he's also being faced with the reality that his actress ex-wife was raking a lot more dough than he was, which means retirement just got a bit further away. The country singer recently received some backlash for playing a private gig at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, but sources are saying it was a financial move more than anything. "He's got to pay the bills, and divorce lawyers don't come cheap," a source explained.

Nicole Kidman's Keeping Her Head Down
Kidman has had a busy year without the marriage troubles, taking on more work than ever before. Insiders reveal that the end of their marriage has been weighing on her a lot: "'She's been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it."
But, she's seemingly handling things pretty well. "She's surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it's out she's just focused on what's ahead and her girls." Nicole has requested to be the primary residential parent in the custody agreement.
