The vacation received extensive backlash from fans, as Kim had posted a pic last month captioned, “After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal for just a brief moment in time.” Hm...we wish we all had the priviledge to make such an escape.
Fans criticized the star for being insensitive and tone-deaf, considering the pandemic and the state of the world at the moment. Followers were rubbed the wrong way that Kardashian used her privilege to remove herself and her family from the struggles plaguing the rest of the world, bragging about their escape to paradise while everyone else obeyed stay-at-home orders.
Despite the backlash, Kim has filled her feed with pics from the trip which, admittedly, looked like a beautiful getaway. In one photo, she posed with her sisters, minus Kylie, showing off their unique beach style in a mix of neon and animal print suits.
