Kylie Jenner‘s Kylie Skin just launched and the star is already busy working on more products for her namesake skincare collection.
News broke that the beauty mogul has developed a SPF product to add to her collection, which officially made its big debut on May 22 on KylieSkin.com.
Jenner made the announcement in a vlog on her YouTube channel, where she gave fans a sneak peek of the new product that will be joining the Kylie Skin roster that includes a foaming cleanser, makeup remover wipes, walnut scrub, moisturizer, toner, vitamin C serum, and eye cream.
In the video, Jenner can be seen holding a white bottle while hosting a meeting for Kylie Skin. "This is the first SPF product for Kylie Skin," she teased.
This comes following the backlash Jenner received for her Kylie Skin Walnut Scrub, which was met with scrutiny by the skincare community for its harsh formula. Critiques and dermatologists say that the scrub contains irritating ingredients that can cause some serious damage to the skin.
"Walnut scrubs are not good for your skin," dermatologist Kavita Mariwalla, MD, tells POPSUGAR. "It's not the walnuts. It's the fact that the ground walnut shells can never be pulverized enough to make round edges. Hard walnut shells will create small microtears in the skin, which will ultimately alter your texture in a bad way."
Jenner's scrub, however, is described as a "gentle yet effective face scrub" by the brand and is designed to "buff away dead skin cells to reveal a soft, radiant complexion." The star has credited the scrub with giving her skin its red carpet glow and revealed that it's a regularly used product in her skincare routine.
The new mom didn't reveal when the new SPF product will be launching, but she did give fans some other exciting updates regarding her new skincare line.
She shared that a Kylie Skin restock is coming on June 10 and that every product in the collection will be restocked and available for purchase again on the site.
There will also be a Kylie Skin Summer Truck, which according to Jenner will "serve soft serve, iced coffee, and pink lemonade" as well as the brand's hero products in the L.A. area this summer.
