Timmy Skips Kylie's Birthday & Kylie Posts Breakup Songs
Last Friday, Kylie shared two songs she'd been listening to with her Instagram followers, "Lover, You Should've Come Over," Jack Buckley's 1994 album Grace, and "Crying Laughing Loving," Labi Siffre's 1972 single. Both songs have the air of a breakup to them...
In "Lover, You Should've Come Over," Buckley croons lines like, "Maybe I'm too young / To keep good love from going wrong / But tonight you're on my mind / So you never know,' and 'Broken down and hungry for your love / With no way to feed it / Where are you tonight, child? / You know how much I need it." With Timothée on set in Hungary filming Dune: Part 3, it's probably Kylie was just missing her man, but some fans are reading a little further into the lyrics and guessing there could've been a breakup involved.
Especially when you look at the lyrics to "Crying Laughing Loving." Siffre sings, "Loving never did me no good no how, no how / That's why I can't love you now," and later, "Crying never did nobody no good no how / That's why I don't cry." Has Timmy given Kylie something to cry about? Fans are divided.
Social Media Reactions
On social media, fans of the couple have been debating whether Kylie and Timmy are going strong, hitting a rough patch, or tragically done for good. Many bring up the point that Timmy is out of the country filming, and he's probably just busy. Less than a month ago the pair were vacationing in Budapest, after all. But, no post for her birthday? Plus the breakup songs? Both sides are compelling.
"He's filming Dune right now and he only posts on social media to promote his movies," one person argued on TikTok. "He would never post his personal business like that!"
"Y'all know damn well they don't post each other," another person agreed.
"Mind you, this woman would fly half way across the world just to hang out and spend time with this dude," one person argued. "Premieres, award shows, red carpets, she was always down. And he can't post her on her birthday? Her thing is social media..."
"Say what you want but you can't ignore the break up songs," another comment reads. "Women post certain songs for a reason."
