Leonardo DiCaprio Hides His Face After Having Dinner With Girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti In Paris
Earlier this week, the 50-year-old actor reportedly had an exclusive party in Paris, where he hosted some of today's biggest celebrities at a restaurant. While it's unclear precisely what the event was for, some impressive names were in attendance, like reality star and beauty mogul Kim Kardashian.
The 90s heartthrob is known for his love of fun parties, and we can only assume he had a great time, but it was unclear, as when he exited, paparazzi couldn't catch a glimpse of his face, as he covered it with a face mask, sunglasses, and a baseball cap. A few days later, he sat down for a romantic and intimate dinner with his 27-year-old girlfriend, Vittoria, and did the same thing when they were finished.
The couple was photographed leaving a restaurant, and Leonardo once again had on a face mask and a baseball cap, as he wore one of his signature outfits - an all-black look with a black blazer and matching shirt underneath. He attempted to keep his eyes on the ground as his security ushered him into a car. Meanwhile, Vittoria, while also dressed in black, did nothing to cover her face and was closely photographed by paparazzi. You can see pictures of them in Paris here.
The Internet Reacts To Leonardo's Attempt To Hide His Identity On Social Media
Like with most pictures of the award-winning star, whenever he's photographed attending an event, the pictures tend to go viral on social media. These snaps went especially viral, as numerous social media users couldn't understand why exactly he was so adamant about hiding his face.
Leonardo is in the headlines a lot more these days, not just because many people want to catch a glimpse of him and the Italian model, but he also had a recent film come out, One Battle After Another, which is receiving rave reviews. Therefore, since he's already being photographed at press tours and promotional events, some internet users find it comical that he's going to strange lengths to hide his face, even though it's pretty evident that it's him behind his 'disguise.'
"I love Leo's fashion sense," joked an Instagram user.
"We know it's you, Leo," wrote an internet user, referencing famous paparazzi footage of the actor.
"The covering of the face is so dumb," wrote an Instagram user. "You're there to be photographed. The end."
"Why does DiCaprio always cover his face?" asked another. "We know it's you."
"Leo needs to get over himself," wrote another.
We'll be curious to see just how long the actor decides to keep up his famous disguise, but for now, he's continuing to wear it out, to the internet's dismay.
