Mandy Moore clearly sought inspiration from her character in Tangled when it came to her outfit for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, May 10th. At least as far as the color was concerned; we can’t imagine Rapunzel wearing something *quite* so daring!

We couldn’t take our eyes off the 38-year-old This is Us star as she walked to and then sat on her seat. Mandy wore a beyond-stunning plum silk chiffon dress from the Alberta Ferretti Fall 2022 collection, featuring a plunging front, subtle floral detailing, and a sheer tiered skirt.

We don’t want to be hyperbolic, but we think it just might be one of the most stunning dresses we have seen this year; and certainly one of the best ones Mandy has *ever* worn. And we sort of wish the interview was done standing up, to let the dress shine in all its glory!

The actress accessorized her gorgeous dress with matching purple Aquazzura suede plexi see-through sandals, as well as purple eyeshadow which complemented the rest of the look perfectly. Her light brunette locks were styled in a silky, bouncy down do, while accessories were kept to a minimum to let the dress do its thing, save for a pair of bejeweled Delfina Delettrez drop earrings.

Not content with giving us just one wow-worthy look for her appearance on the show, Mandy also changed into another memorable outfit when she took to the stage to perform after her interview.

For her performance of "In Real Life," the singer and actress changed into a sleek black maxi dress by Macgraw, which featured voluminous balloon sleeves and a high-necked mesh front. It was certainly different to her previous look, but it was still just as breath-taking!

We're going to miss seeing her as Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us as the show comes to an end (we're already crying!) but we know that she is onto other fun and exciting ventures – including the release of her new album, "In Real Life," and a summer tour!
