Margot Robbie, is that you? The Australian actress is no stranger to changing her looks for movie roles like Harley Quinn and Tonya Harding, but we think her latest transformation might be one of her biggest ones yet!

The 31-year-old Oscar-nominated star was spotted on the set of her latest film Babylon, and her trademark blonde locks nowhere in sight. Instead, the decorated actress is seen sporting a shocking look of red curls. She’s gone red before with her unrecognizable Mary, Queen of Scots costume, and fans are equally shocked this time.

ICYMI, Margot is playing the role of iconic 20s Hollywood flapper girl Clara Bow in Damien Chazelle’s latest film, and it’s safe to say that the hair and make-up department have really outdone themselves with the transformation already. We don’t know whether Robbie has undergone a drastic hair-over or whether it’s a very well-made wig, but either way, she looks so different.

We’re used to seeing Robbie–an ambassador for Chanel, don’tcha know–looking like a blonde bombshell on the red carpet, as well as her more glamorous roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Wolf of Wall Street, but we’re definitely loving the red too!

Paparazzi photos from the set of the film in Los Angeles captured Margot on August 22nd exiting a car. Fans did a double take when they saw her big hair and all-black ensemble.

This isn’t the first time we have seen her experiment with her hair color though. Remember her multicolored hair for her role as Harley Quinn in superhero movie, Suicide Squad? And of course, who can forget her role as Queen Elizabeth I in Mary Queen of Scots, where she also sported a red hairdo (albeit a much brighter one) for the part. She also toyed with a subtler red hue when she played the role of Jane Porter in the 2016 movie, The Legend of Tarzan. The girl’s got range!

Interestingly, Margot was brought on as a last minute replacement for Emma Stone (an actress who is used to sporting a gorgeous red mane from time to time) who couldn’t commit to the project due to scheduling conflicts.

We are beyond excited for the release of Babylon – its all-star cast alone is enough to make us flock to the movie theaters when it’s eventually released. Among the star-studded cast is Babylon’s ensemble cast is Brad Pitt, Olivia Wilde, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving, Jean Smart, Max Minghella, and Katherine Waterston, to name just a few.

It’s safe to say that Margot Robbie has a huge range as an actress, and we can’t wait to see more!
