Meghan Markle Wears A Chic Brown Ensemble In As Ever Holiday Video
"Oh, we see you! Not even Thanksgiving yet and you've already got this in the bag," the With Love, Meghan star captioned the post, which shows her hanging beige Christmas stockings on the fireplace.
Regardless of what critics say – and whether it was the acceptable thing to wear while decorating for Christmas – the mom-of-two looked undeniably elegant. She wore an Argent long-sleeve silk charmeuse bias top in the trending espresso brown shade, teamed with the matching midi skirt. She styled her hair in a timeless, sleek bun, and accessorized with a Cartier Juste un Clou necklace and Cartier Love bracelet.
Some people thought that she was wearing the wrong outfit to be decorating, as they insisted that super-casual pieces or ugly Christmas sweaters were the only way to go. Others didn't have an issue with the decorating outfit, but took offence with the actual decorations themselves…
"Those stockings look like human skin. Ugh," slammed one person on Reddit. "Buffalo Bill made it," joked a second, as a third replied: "Ed Gein gave him the pattern made by Ilse Koch."
Social Media Criticism
"They are leftovers from her nude pantyhose stash," quipped a fourth, in reference to what Meghan said about having to wear nude pantyhose when she was a senior royal. "It looks like an artificial leg," commented a fifth.
"She really needs to bite the bullet and pay a professional stylist to set up her videos and food photos," thought a sixth, as a seventh wrote: "Meghan just likes beige, she understands beige, beige is easy." "Again, we are left witnessing Markle's complete lack of creativity. She can't come up with anything new because she's an empty shell. Nothing cannot create something," criticized an eighth.
"I heard once that Christmas decorations should look like joy exploded in your living room – all cheerful color, chaos and fun. Not this boring 2010 iteration of farmhouse chic," added a ninth, while a tenth had another theory, writing: "Meghan simply discovered that true aristocrats wear muted pastel colors and now cosplays as a British lady. In Britain, Meghan wanted to be American and ran around barefoot in jeans. But in America, Meghan wants to prove to everyone that she's more aristocratic than even the most royal."
