Millions of people tuned in on Sat. May 19 to the royal wedding to watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry say “I do.” But, most of the ceremony was spent trying to figure out how to copy Meghan Markle’s amazing makeup look.

“Her makeup look was very collaborative,” explains Daniel Martin, Meghan’s makeup artist for the royal wedding. “She’s extremely decisive and I know exactly what she wants. She’s very open and loves makeup, so it’s always been fun playing dress-up with her!”

Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding Makeup

The newly-crowned Duchess of Sussex embraced the no-makeup makeup trend by opting for a barely-there glam, which allowed her natural beauty to shine. Her elegant makeup matched her gorgeous Givenchy gown perfectly and basically started a whole new beauty trend.

“If Meghan had much more makeup on, her face would have been the focus and not the gracefulness of her dress,” Martin continues. “It would have been distracting, and that’s what you don’t want when the dress is the main attraction. Makeup should be the finishing touch to the dress, never the other way around…especially on your wedding day!”

It’s not uncommon for celebrity glam looks to require a long list of products, especially if it’s for a royal wedding. But, Meghan’s wedding day glam only consisted of 6 products!!!! We’re not kidding!

Aside from your favorite mascara and concealer, here are the products you need to channel your inner princess and achieve Meghan Markle’s wedding makeup.

6 Products You Need To Achieve Meghan Markle’s Bridal Makeup

Hydrating Mask

Dear By Renee Pomegranate Hydrating Mask ($49.95)

To ensure that her skin would be hydrated and dewy, Meghan used a hydrating mask before starting her glam. We love this one from Dear by Renee because of its ultra-hydrating and antioxidant-rich formula that visibly plumps the skin and boosts its radiance.

Foundation

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($45)

Meghan opted for a lightweight foundation on her special day. Using a tinted moisturizer is an excellent way to even your skin tone without looking cakey.

Eyebrow Pencil

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil ($34)

To get those perfect brows, Meghan used a fine-point eyebrow pencil, like this one from Hourglass. These are preferred if you want to enhance your brows while keeping their natural shape and texture because of their precision feather-like strokes that closely resemble hair.

Illuminating Blush

Physicians Formula Powder Palette in Blushing Natural ($10.63)

Meghan's natural glow also came from her illuminizing blush, which added an effortless flush to her cheeks and perfect for those who want a subtle contoured or sun-kissed look.

Versatile Eyeshadow Palette

NARS NARSissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette ($59)

To get her barely-there eyeshadow look, Meghan combined a champagne shadow with a natural brown, which adds an instant, shimmer to the eyes. You can even copy her flawless eyeliner by using a dark brown or black eyeshadow, which is why we recommend investing in a versatile palette like NARS' NARSissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette.

Lipstick

Wet N Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Blushing Bali ($1.48)

A nude or rose-pink lip is all you need to tie together the look, which is what Meghan opted for at the royal wedding. Traditional lipstick formulas are better than mattes if you want to stick to the natural no-makeup makeup look as they add a luminous, romantic glow to your glam.
