Not all royal podcasts are as “disastrous” as Meghan Markle‘s Archetypes on Spotify, as Queen Camilla‘s podcast has proven to be quite a hit! According to reports, Queen Camilla’s podcast The Queen’s Reading Room has been a huge success ratings-wise – so much so that a second live event will be recorded in the summer at Hampton Court Palace!

The second podcast will be titled Queen’s Reading Room Festival, and is set to take place on June 8th this year. According to the website, it will be “bigger and better” than the inaugural event, and will “gather authors, experts, actors and literature lovers for a day celebrating the written word.” As per a press release, it will feature Harry Potter stars Helena Bonham Carter and Miriam Margolyes, as well as thrill-writer Harlan Coben. It will also feature a special musical showcase of the musical comedy Operation Mincemeat.

Meghan Markle Is Reportedly Unhappy With Queen Camilla's Podcast Success

Naturally, Queen Camilla's podcast success is bound to infuriate both the former Suits actress and her husband Prince Harry, who has never seen eye to eye with his step-mother!

"Given Meghan's apparent disinterest in Queen Camilla I doubt if she has a nice word to say about her or her podcast," royal author and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward told Fabulous, shutting down any speculation that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may call her to congratulate her on the success of the podcast.

"Camilla's podcast has been a great success," the My Mother and I author continued, adding: "She has proven many times over she can bring in any of the big names from the world of the arts she wants."

Queen Camilla's 'Perfect Revenge'

As we mentioned previously, Queen Camilla's podcast success is deemed as the "perfect revenge" given what Prince Harry said about his step-mother in his bombshell memoir, Spare. If you'll recall, he didn't have many nice things to say about her, and even called her "dangerous" and a "villain."

"After all the hurtful things Harry has said about Camilla, she has finally got her own back on them," director of Borne Media, Denise Palmer Davies, confessed. "I bet Meghan, in particular, will be livid over the whole thing, and probably a bit embarrassed that hers fell at the first hurdle," she added, in reference to Meghan's failed Spotify podcast which was axed last year.
