Meghan Markle Poses Seemingly Makeup Free On The Cover Of 'Harper's Bazaar'
This month, royal family enthusiasts and other pop culture lovers were given a treat when the As Ever founder sat down for an in-depth cover story interview with Harper's Bazaar. It had been a while since she had sat down for a more personal interview, and she opened up about her and Prince Harry's relationship, her business, what life has been like since moving from the UK to California in 2020, etc.
For the issue, the Duchess wore a sleek and chic black suit, which was made from a silky black material and included a belt around her waist. She sat on top of a simple stool in front of a plain background and seemingly had no makeup on as she looked directly into the camera. Her signature black hair was tied back into a slightly messy updo, and she had simple dangling earrings on. You can see the cover here!
Social Media Users Slam Meghan's Cover Photoshoot
The entire magazine issue quickly began trending online, as people wanted to hear more about what the mom-of-two had to say about her personal life. However, the cover photo began trending, and not necessarily for positive reasons.
In the photos, it looked as though Meghan was not wearing any makeup, showing off a more natural and stripped-down version of her look. And even though she received praise for doing so, others felt that the shoot overall was "unflattering" and didn't serve her in any way.
"The multiple styles, the 'natural, no-makeup' look didn't work," wrote a user on X. "It made her look miserable!"
"That's the best picture they got?" asked an Instagram user.
One Instagram user slammed Meghan's "awful" hair and makeup, as another commented that the photoshoot was "not good."
We'll be curious to see what Meghan's next photoshoot has in store, and after the public's reaction to her latest one, she might not go for the same aesthetic again.
